'On Friday 20th July (2001) RTK's digital satellite programme moves to a better satellite.  
The new satellite is Eutelsat W1 at 10 degrees East, the same satellite as you can see the Voice of America early evening news on analogue. You will need to retune your receiver to:

• Frequency 11.134 MHz
• Polarisation Horizontal (no change)
• Symbol rate 5.632 M/symb (no change)FEC 3/4 (no change)

To continue receiving RTK satellite from 7pm all you need to do is move your satellite dish to the new position and retune to the new frequency.

From June RTK has been transmitting its satellite programme on digital for which you need to have a digital receiver.
