For the purposes of a
continual enhancing of the media environment in Macedonia, as a general
goal, the Macedonian Media Center will be acting throughout four main
programs, as following:

Media Program;
-
Legal Program;
-
Civil Sector Program;
&
-
Public Administration
Program.
In accordance with the
Action Plan for 2001, a several projects has been already undertaken,
mainly related to the Legal Program implemented by the Media Lawyer
Network of the Macedonian Media Center.
Upon a request, a detailed
description of the General Program and a separate description of each of
the programs can be provided, as well as the Action Plan 2001 including
description for each project.

MISSION STATMENT: The
Macedonian Media Center will serve as an advocate and facilitator for
the media and journalists to enhance the professional environment by
means of maintaining a continuos public debate with the governmental
bodies and the civil sector and throughout a joint action directly
influence the level of democratization of the Macedonian society.
