  • ABOUT MREZA

Mreza Production Group deals in production of TV and radio programs, feature films, TV ads and reports, media promotions, marketing and RTV consulting. The Studio B long time journalists established in 1997 Mreza PG. Mreza PG functions as private joined share-hold company with 9 share-holders, all 9 are journalists and none has majority in invested capital.

  • ACTIVITIES

The Mreza Production Group produces on regular bases five television programs of totally 3 hours per week. After the political changes in our country, our programs can finally be seen in Belgrade. Besides ANEM, with which we have a contract to broadcast our programs, Studio B also televises them all, and even RTS accepted to do so, except for “My Corner”. In addition, the number of local television stations in Serbia broadcasting our programs jumped after October 5. to 40.

The production consists of the following TV broadcasts:

1.       TV Mreza (TV Network) is a 60-minute information-political collage, which addresses the most topical issues and looks into various phenomena and problems as well as human destinies. Being professionally open to all-political oppositions and social problems and with a high quality and imaginative TV presentation, the program is highly rated by both the general audience and professional public. These qualities were precisely the reason for occasional censoring and then also elimination of this program from Studio B in June 1998. Annual production of TV Mreza amounts to 26 individual programs (every second week).

2.       Moj Cosak (My Corner) is a program where prominent personalities and people from the street answer to some difficult as well as ordinary questions. The program is on five times a week (weekdays). Its briefand dynamic TV form (5-8 minutes) allows for open statement and comparison of different views.

3.       Dani u nedelji (Days in a week) is the 30 minutes weekly news program covering the main local, national and word events occurred in seven days-from Sunday to Saturday. Local TV stations broadcast this program on Sundays. This is the attempt to overcome the lack of daily national programming in local TV stations.

4.       Kopca (The Clasp) is 30 minutes weekly story focused to the actual event, phenomena or person in almost all the fields of the social, cultural, economical and political life in Serbia.

5.        Debata (Debate) is 60 minutes long broadcast that consist of studio round-table debate of experts, politicians, intellectuals, journalists and NGO representatives about some social and political issue which represents the major problem at the moment. It gathers participants of various political options, as well as analysts, in exchanging opinions and arguments in regard to solution of the major problems Serbia faces with. The production was launched during the campaign for the September elections. After the huge success of the program in the wake of the September 24. elections, we think that its basic concept should remain unchanged. “Debate” had major ratings in Serbia and quickly established its position in the prime time hours on local televisions. Mreza envisages continuing regular producing of “Debate” in 2001.
