Yugoslavia FoNet is private News Agency, independent from political and other influences coming from govermental or non-govermental institutions, organisations and individuals, domestic or foreign. FoNet was founded in 1994 by Belgrade journalist Zoran V. Sekulic zsekulic@fonet.co.yu The Agency has audio, written and picture news production (including seven different services) for electronic and written media on the territory of FR Yugoslavia, ex-Yugoslavia and worldwide. Main goals of the editorial policy are true, complete, quick and unbiased reporting on major political events in FRY and in the region, based on reliable sources and in accordance with high professional journalistic standards. FoNet accepts and abides by all IFJ Principles on the Conduct of Journalists. The Agency has a total of 17 correspondents/stringers worldwide, including all the republics of former Yugoslavia. FoNet Central bureau in Belgrade has 19 journalists, editors, tehnicians and photographers. Many domestic radio and TV stations, newspapers and weekly magazines use FoNet's written audio and photo services. Among them are RTV Studio B, Radio B 92, Association of Independent Electronic Media (in Serbia and Montenegro), daily newspapers Nasa Borba, Dnevni Telegraf, Pobjeda, Demokratija, Blic, Gradjanin and Vecernje novosti, occasionally weekly magazines Vreme and NIN, as well as Independent News Agency Montena-fax from Montenegro. On the territory of former Yugoslavia, FoNet cooperates with the Independent Slovenian News Agency MOREL, Independent Croatian News Agency STINA, Bosnian Serb news Agency SRNA and with the Inedpendent Macedonian News Agency MAKFAX. FoNet cooperates and exchanges services with Reuters, AP, AFP, ANSA, KYODO and RIA Novosti.
